Professional Background
Experience and teaching philosophy
I live in Albany, New York. I am currently a teacher at an Elementary School in the City School District of Albany. I have been a teacher for over five years with experience in multiple grade-levels including, Pre-Kindergarten, 4th Grade, and 5th Grade. I received my undergraduate degree at The College at Brockport in Arts for Children and earned my teaching certification in both Elementary Education (1-6) and Special Education (1-6). I then received a Master of Science in Literacy (B-6) at the University at Albany. I am passionate about teaching children, growing professionally, working out, hiking with my dog, and spending time with my family.
